Plantology, an app designed for the elderly tackling with social isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Plantology was specifically crafted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, offering features that enable elderly audiences to observe various methods of planting specific plants, such as flowers.
Home
Users have the opportunity to search for plants and begin their plantation journey to reduce social isolation implications. A straightforward and inviting theme is employed to attract users and motivate them to start their plantation journey. As seen on the right, a search bar is in place alone with suggested plantations.
Nursery
Within the app's nursery section, users can monitor the advancement of their plantations and engage with fellow users participating in similar activities. The first screen of the nursery section introduces users to the option of adding a plant, while the second screen displays the selected plant. When users click on the plant, they are directed to third screen which presents detailed information about the plant's current growth status.
The Plantology Encyclopedia offers a variety of plant profiles, enabling users to access information about planting specific plants, caring for them, and receiving future recommendations. The user-friendly layout presents all the plant profiles, allowing easy browsing and access to relevant information. This design ensures smooth navigation and brings together a diverse range of plantations in one place.

Chat
Plantology incorporates a chat feature that enables users to connect with peers and exchange insights about various plantations. The interface has been thoughtfully designed for user-friendliness, facilitating efficient communication. Furthermore, users can also share images, allowing them to communicate visually and enhance their interactions.
AR Feature
In addition to its other features, Plantology includes an Augmented Reality (AR) function that enables users to virtually visualize their plantations and choose suitable plants for their homes. The presented concept offers an example of how the AR feature will appear to the user when accessed through a mobile camera.
